The 4-level side split was a popular floor model in the 1970s and 1980s. We have worked on many side splits, and it happens to be one of our favourite floor plans.
The scope of work for this project included removing the wall between kitchen and dining room, but leaving the wall between the kitchen and living space to offer a bit of separation.
We updated the kitchen cabinets, countertops, and both bathrooms, and installed pot lights in the main living area and bedrooms.
